Meet Derek Archambault

Video Transcript:

Hi, I’m attorney Derek Archambault. And if you’re watching this video, you’ve probably come to my website looking for help for yourself or for a loved one. And if you’ve been to my website, you’ve probably been to a few others, too. And now you find yourself trying to figure out how to decide who the best attorney is for your case. Well, I can’t answer that for you, but what I can do is tell you a little bit about myself. Uh, I’ve devoted my entire career to the practice

of criminal law. Starting way back in 2007, I was a law student, a clerk in a local county attorney’s office, and I focused on criminal law ever since. If you need a will, if you’re getting a divorce, if you’ve been injured in an accident, I can’t help you. But if you’re facing criminal charges, I certainly can. One of the things that I’m proudest about is that I’ve been designated as a certified criminal law specialist through the State Bar Association. Fewer than 3% of all

attorneys in the entire state have been certified as specialists in their field. And I’m one of them. What that means is that uh, I passed a test. I demonstrated my experience, knowledge, and expertise to a panel of the top criminal law attorneys in the state, and they agreed that I had the expertise to be designated a criminal law specialist. There are only a couple of dozen criminal law specialists in the whole state, and I’m proud to be one of them. I think another thing that

makes me unique is that I actually spent the majority of my career as a prosecutor. For the first 15 years, I worked as a prosecutor in various counties and cities throughout the state. And what that means is that I know how prosecutors view cases. I know what they’re looking for, and I know how to position my clients to get the very best possible outcome in their case. I also to as far as I know, I am the only practicing criminal defense attorney in the state who has actually developed and taught accredited law enforcement

training courses. And so what that means is I taught cops how to do their jobs correctly. I know when they’re doing them wrong, and I can use that to get a better outcome in my client’s cases. But I think most importantly, you need an attorney that you are comfortable with. Somebody who’s going to take the time to listen to you and explain to you the details of your case, and frankly, somebody who’s going to treat your case not just as a case or a piece of paper but as a human bein,g as a person who has

a problem and at the end of the day that’s really what I do. I solve problems for people. But you don’t have to take it from me. Take a look at my Google reviews and see what my uh current and former clients have said. And uh, after you’ve looked through those, if you think I can help, please give me a call, shoot me an email. I’d love to chat.

About Me

I never expected to be called to work in criminal defense.  For many years I found work as a prosecutor fulfilling.  But over time that changed.  Rather than making a difference, I was a cog in the machine.  Cases stopped feeling like people and became names on paper.   And I realized that often the true difference makers in the system are the defense attorneys.

I founded Archambault Criminal Defense because I want to use my skills to help people.  Because I want my cases to be about people and not just names on paper.  Because I know I have unique expertise and experience that can truly help people move forward and get on with their lives.
